He is not only an Actor, also a Producer (Red Chillies Entertainment), a Son (Taj Mohammad Khan & Lateef Fatima Khan), a Husband (Wife : Gauri Khan), a Father (Aryan, Suhana & Abram khan)He Was Born On 2 November !965 in New Delhi. After Graduation he Followed his dreams, & he made himself a Superstar. His first starring role was in Lekh Tandon‘s television series FAUJI. In the series, which depicted a realistic look at the training of army cadets, he played the leading role of Abhimanyu Rai. After That he’s done in several television series ‘Circus’, ‘Idiot’, ‘Umeed’, ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’, ‘Which Annie Gives it Those Ones’.
But after his mother’s death he came to Mumbai to pursue a full-time career in Bollywood. His film debut was in Deewana (1992), he earned the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for his performance. Also released in 1992 were Khan’s first films as the male lead, Chamatkar, Dil Aashna Hai, and the comedy Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. In 1995 Karan Arjun, Co-starring Salman Khan and Kajol, it became the second-highest-grossing film of the year in India.


His most significant release that year was Aditya Chopra‘s directorial debut, the romance Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge(1995), in which he played a young Non-resident Indian (NRI) who falls in love with Kajol’s character during a trip across Europe. Khan was initially reticent to portray the role of a lover, but this film is credited with establishing him as a “romantic hero”. The film won ten Filmfare Awards, including the second of Khan’s Best Actor Awards.
His second blockbuster hit was popular musical romance Dil To Pagal Hai(1997). He portrayed Rahul, a stage director caught in a love triangle between Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor. The film and his performance met with critical praise, winning Khan his third Best Actor Award at Filmfare.
After DDLJ success, he never look back…. Shah Rukh Khan gave us many hit flims, like- ‘Devdas'(2002), ‘Dil Se'(1998), ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'(1998), ‘Mohabbatein'(2000), ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham'(2001), ‘Kal Ho Na Ho'(2003), ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2004), ‘Veer Zaara'(2004), ‘Swades'(2004), ‘Om Shanti Om'(2007), ‘My Name Is Khan'(2010), ‘Chennai Express'(2013) and many more.
AWARD LIST
- 1997 – Best Indian Citizen Award.
- 2002 – Rajiv Gandhi Award for Excellence in the Field of Entertainment.
- 2005 – Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award from the Government of India.
- 2009 – Among the 10 recipients of the IIFA–FICCI Frames Awards for the “Most Powerful Entertainer of the Decade.
- 2007 – He was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Order of the Arts and Literature) by the French government for his “exceptional career.
- 2007 – His lifelike wax statue was installed in London’s Madame Tussauds wax museum. Additional versions were installed at Madame Tussauds museums in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and New York in 2010.
- He’s also won 14 Filmfare Awards from 30 nominations and special awards.
